Trying to get Scoot back as well, a matchday thread would be good to get a few people back , and a bit more posts would also help.

Would be ace to have the likes of Poz and Scoot being more active on here. Poz may well still have contact details for the likes of TT, UG and Smokie. Get this lot back posting regularly and the forum would thrive, I'm sure. Its much more fun when for the most part posters don't take themselves too seriously. I cant stand NO.

Might not be the best Idea to get UA back he lost the Forum a shedload of posters ,I know I was  one of them .

Nowt the matter with UA, great lad as far as I'm concerned. He had my back when I was getting shit off the turbot angling twat. In any case, I'm not one for promoting excluding individuals, although I do have some exceptions in mind  Big Grin

I got on well with him but because I did  not agree with his bullying of Samb he started trying to bully me and others

RE: Back for a deek - BFT - 11-12-2023

Bullying by members is not tolerated on here under any circumstances.

Only Staff can do that

RE: Back for a deek - Scrivenator - 20-12-2023

What about bullying of members?

RE: Back for a deek - BFT - 20-05-2024

Yeah that's absolutely fine scriv mate   Smile

Over the last couple of years we've had quite a few of the oldies come on announcing 'they're back'....but they always fuck off again just a few days later.

They can see at the time of their return this place is pretty dead so I dont see the point in making announcements like that if they've no intention of sticking around for a while to try and help liven the place up a bit in the hope that more might return.

RE: Back for a deek - Scrivenator - 04-04-2025

Aye, I come on less and less these days. Its a proper shame, as you couldnt better many of the posters back in the day, especially those who didnt take themselves too seriously and enjoyed a good laugh, pisstake and banter. the content genuinely surpassed "competitors" As an example, and Ive said it before, that Newcastle-online is infested with some absolute knackas who wouldn't know a football if Sandro kicked em in the face with it

I do occasionally chip in with a comment, but its does feel like chatting to yourself at times, so my contribution is much less frequent. I'm approaching my mid seventies now, so am less inclined to be bothered, but it is rather a shame that this place never realised its potential. Cool

Now and again, I trawl through some content, much of which makes me smile
PS, just had a look at memories of the old forum and remembered bennygate, the fantasist would be restrauter Smile Smile Smile
