  Cricket thread

New Zealand held their nerve to secure a dramatic draw against England in the second Test in Christchurch and claim a 1-0 series victory.
Stuart Broad dismissed Jeet Raval (19) and Kane Williamson for a duck with the first two deliveries of the day.
England sensed an opportunity when Colin de Grandhomme (45) holed out with 27 overs remaining.

However Ish Sodhi's unbeaten 56, along with Neil Wagner's 103-ball stay, was enough to see the Black Caps home.
It means England end the winter without a win in Test cricket - they lost the Ashes 4-0, with a draw in Melbourne - and have not won away from home for 13 matches.

Bad enough being a shit game without having a shit team that represent us Angry

Well it wouldn't do not to have one would it?

Just been ower there poking around to find they are mocking Wednesday for being the city's second team  - maybe they overlooked the 4 titles 3 fa cups 1 league cup and 4x in Europe as opposed to United's shit record. Maybe the same delusion that they apply to us Smile

The Rock fairy is the evil great grandmother of the tooth fairy. She only concerns herself with men

of a certain age  (those of us who have to get up for a pee during the night ),You go to bed and snuggle

into your lovely soft and comfortable pillow, then nature calls, and whilst you are peeing the evil Rock

fairy strikes. She fills your lovely soft pillow with hard lumps and rocks,so when you get back into bed

your lovely soft pillow has  taken on  the contours of corrugated sheeting

Fucking get in. Another 3 points in the bag and a step closer to safety. It's time to get a wee bit refreshed.

I think we need a dancing smiley, and a few others too. Probably a monkey wanking as well.

  Huddersfield (h) [result: won 1-0; 35 pts]

After what seems like an eternity Newcastle are back in action in a 3pm kick off tomorrow (Saturday) against udders feeled. The question is will we see Islam Slimani make any kind of debut on the pitch?

The best odds available are 4/5 for a Newcastle win (Bet Victor), 11/4 for a draw (Betfair) and 23/5 for a home defeat (Marathon Bet).

Sport Pesa are offering 21/4 for a 1-0 home win correct score wager whereas Betfair, Paddypower and Bet Victor all have a 0-1 reverse at 12/1.

For the wild optimists a six nowt home howking will yield odds of 325/1 from both Betfair and Paddypower.

Full team news awaited and it remains to be seen whether Matt Ritchie is available after withdrawing from the Scottish squad for their friendly in Hungary against the Magyars on Tuesday.

It is rumoured that Mooy has been in training and may be available for udders feeled.

Just let one go and the brush came in very handy as it neared it's goal.
One of the easier sports to take part in imo Cool
